has been manufacturing X-ray film processor products for more than 20 years. We are best known for our high quality, upgraded transport racks. We design, manufacture and repair products for Dent-X®/Philips, Air Techniques® and Gendex® processors. We also manufacture the ScanRite™ Dental Film Scanner System and the PrintX™ Dental Film Printer.
What is an upgraded rack? We take used exchange racks (cores) completely apart, re-use a few of the original parts and add new and improved Smith designed and manufactured parts. Smith racks come with a two year warranty because of the quality and engineering improvements designed into the racks. Our racks are interchangeable with original equipment manufactured racks, but at better prices and with a longer warranty due to the higher quality. Many of our customers consider our racks to be "better than new."
How do we support our warranties? We give warranty repairs a top priority. We can usually advance you a part from our stock. Racks and Smith Controls come with a two year warranty. Black Controls are available with a one or two year warranty. Other parts have a one year warranty.
How long does the exchange process take? We can usually ship your order the same day it is received because we have parts in stock that we can advance to you.
What else do we stock? We stock nearly every part for Dent-X/Philips processors and Air Techniques processors. We also stock repaired and new motors as well as controls. We can usually ship the same day the parts are ordered.
Who do we sell to? We only sell our film processor products to dealers. If a dentist wants to place an order, we offer to call their dealer to verify how we should fill the order. The ScanRite system and PrintX can be purchased directly.
