How to get orders faster:
If you’ve already shipped cores to us, they are held in your ‘FUTURE CORE’ account and can be used for immediate orders. Therefore, we don’t need to wait for cores to ship an order. We can ship the same day you call or fax.
Three ways to get cores back from doctors or branches:
1.
Ship direct to Smith Companies via any common carrier.
2.Request a return label when you place the order. This requires the doctor or branch to get the package to UPS or request a pick up.
3.Bill a core charge up front. Core charges let the doctor or branch know they must return a core, keep them from mistakenly throwing it out and cover you against our “no core” charge if they never return a core.
Return Label Service
The return label service is a popular option. For only $.75 plus the cost of return ground shipping, we will include a return label with shipments that require the return of a core. This service is best used when we are sending a part directly to a doctor. The doctor only needs to carefully repackage the core in the same box, apply the return label, give it to a UPS driver or a drop-off point or take the box to a Mail Boxes, Etc or UPS Store.
Terms and Conditions
There is no minimum order requirement nor is there an order processing fee. Our standard terms are Net 30 days for customers with good credit. Customers that have not ordered in more than 1 year automatically become COD or may submit a new credit application.
Accounts that are more than 45 days overdue become COD automatically or must be paid via credit card. We commit to our suppliers for on-time payments and expect our customers to do the same. Accounts that are 60 days overdue are sent immediately to collections. Any customer with an account in collections or 45 days overdue is not available to place new orders until the account is paid. COD terms are indefinite with review from Smith Companies management. Accounts are liable for any collection and litigation fees. Any overdue core invoices that are past 45 days overdue will be placed immediately transferred to Bill for Core for future orders.
Accounts past 45 days overdue paid via credit card will be assessed a $20.00 late payment fee.
Parts returned for no-sale credit are charged a $20.00 restocking fee. This fee is to cover the cost of receiving, inspection and repackaging of the part. We will issue a credit upon receipt of goods and verification of return. There is a 90-day return policy for non-used parts.
