This new file fixes a problem with scanning directly into certain dental applications when used with Win XP and Win 2000. The file fixes an "Unable to register class" error message when scanning images directly into Schick (and a few other brands of digital radiography software) patient files. The instructions below will install this new file in place of the one of the same name in your computer. You can distinguish the old file (286KB in size) from the new (284KB in size) either by the date or the file size. Save the new file onto a floppy diskette and put the diskette into the computer that is connected to your ScanRite. 1. Close the ScanRite application 2. Right click on the Start button 3. Left click on Explore 4. Left click on the + next to My Computer 5. Left click on the + next to Local Disk 6. Left click on the + next to Windows 7. Left click on the + next to TWAIN_32 8. Left click on the 3 1/2 Floppy lettering 9. Left click, hold and drag the CS270032.ds file (that shows up on the right side of the Explore window) to the CS2700 folder that is located inside the TWAIN_32 folder (you may have to scroll down to find the file on the left side) 10. Left click the Yes button to replace the file The installation is done and you can reopen ScanRite.
